OLMC Organizations
The Legion of Mary is a lay apostolic association of Catholics who, with the sanction of the Church and under the powerful leadership of Mary Immaculate, Mediatrix of All Graces, serve the Church and their neighbour on a voluntary basis in about 170 countries.
This Spanish-speaking group is associated with Catholic Charismatic Renewal. The leadership team meets on Monday night to pray and to plan activities. The larger group meets on Wednesday night. All are welcome.
The Social Justice Ministry of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church has as its purpose to affirm and foster human life and the dignity and rights of all people. It works to increase awareness of needs in the local as well as the global community and to promote Catholic Social Teaching.
The Guadalupe Society of Our Lady of Mount Carmel promotes service to the parish and devotion to the Blessed Mother. They sponsor a number of activities throughout the year culminating in the great celebration of Our Lady of Guadalupe on December 12th. This Spanish-speaking group meets once a month to plan activities and they frequently have sales to fundraise after the noon Spanish Mass.
Promotes devotion to the child Jesus and sponsors an annual event as part of the active Filipino community of the parish. The group also hosts a Simbang Gabi celebration as Christmas approaches.
Our Mount Carmel Conference of the St. Vincent de Paul Society provides emergency assistance to families, including food, clothing, furniture and housing assistance. The Society also helps the needy with food baskets during special holidays, Christmas gifts for children and counseling services. Volunteers are always welcome.
From scholarships to social events to community outreach, we are proud supporters of our parish and school.
What started as a social club more than a decade ago has evolved into an important organization for the Our Lady of Mount Carmel community. The Men's Club is proud to host a recurring dinner every second Thursday of the month in the school year. Attendees must be 21 and up, as adult drinks are served. The food is delicious and from across the spectrum. The drinks are top-shelf and served with a side of sarcasm.
The hat is passed to support worthy causes like student scholarships, school and church improvements, and the well-being of our retired Persons of the Cloth.

The Mt. Carmel Women’s Club seeks to promote spiritual growth; to foster friendship between and build community among all women of the parish of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, and to provide service to the parish community including charitable endeavors.
In the spirit of friendship based on our gospel teachings, the Mental Health Ministry Group at Our Lady of Mount Carmel are volunteers and parishioners dedicated to serve our brothers and sisters.
Our ministry provides an accompanying presence through resource referrals, spiritual companionship, and prayer. We do not diagnose. We seek to make it easier for our parishioners and their loved ones to seek treatment and support by providing information about community services available to individuals and loved ones who care for them.

We walk in faith with our brothers and sisters on the road to a better tomorrow.
The grief support group meets Thursday evenings to share experiences of coping with the changes, challenges and pain associated with the loss of a loved one.

OLMC has a group who put all the beads together to make rosaries to be distributed to everyone. If you would like to join the group, please call the parish center at 650-366-3802.
The ICF is a social club of long-standing. They sponsor a Polenta Dinner and other events that support OLMC and other local parishes.
This group has made a cultural and spiritual alliance with St. Francis Xavier Parish in Tanzania. Through Lenten fundraisers the group has assisted the parishioners of St. Francis in completing their church building.
